Lochmaddy Bay Prawns 2Go became established in 2023.  Lochmaddy Bay Prawns was born in 2020 as a positive result of COVID-19.   With plenty of happy customers already using Lochmaddy Bay Prawns we have decided to carrying on supplying our fantastic product locally offering customers a choice of fresh live or cooked seafood only caught from our very own fishing boat, making us a business to consumer supplier in North Uist, West Coast Fishing, Outer Hebrides of Scotland.  If you are looking to get quality products for a fair price, you can count on us. DA (Owner & Founder) has been fishing for almost 40 years and had never experienced such sudden and severe impacts to the fishing industry caused by the pandemic.  His dedication and passion to fishing life resulted in the way business was usually conducted, to a way that it had never operated before.  With the power of Social Media, Tina (Director & Co-founder) quickly reacted and Lochmaddy Bay Prawns was born on March, 21 2020.  This was enhanced further in 2023 by the launch of our own webpage allowing customers to place online orders for collection.  During lock-down and subsequently, DA & Tina have been providing a service to the local community and tourists alike, of being able to source live Langoustines/Prawns, Brown Crab and Squat Lobsters directly from the fishing boat, from crystal clear waters to our finest Hebridean larder.

Knowing the enjoyment and delight of our customers and the excellent feedback of our quality products and indeed since 2023, our portfolio has change due to customer demands.  By offering bespoke handmade seafood platters, it reduces waste as we 'cook to order'.  This has inspired us to keep providing a service to our local community and to enhance the choices for tourism, creating a memorable eating experience.
